The Pépiterre

Nestled in a verdant setting just a stone's throw from Sarzeau town center on the Gulf tourist route, La Pépiterre is a vibrant association that welcomes you.

On-site, you can:

Stroll freely through the association's garden (accessible during shop hours) and enjoy a hot or cold drink.

Explore the artisan boutique, where you'll find around twenty local artisans and producers showcasing their creations.

Take part in a skill-sharing workshop for all ages.

If you're lucky, you might catch an agricultural event (spring festival, apple pressing), a cultural performance, the Christmas market, or the potters' market (co-organized with Argile Bretagne).

What is La Pépiterre?

The La Pépiterre association aims to facilitate the installation of project leaders who wish to develop an environmentally friendly professional activity in the agricultural and artisanal fields on the Rhuys Peninsula.

Since its creation in 2017, around twenty professionals have passed through La Pépiterre and are now established on the peninsula or in the Vannes area.

Today, around ten professionals are on-site to test and/or develop their activities. They grow, breed, create, and transmit their knowledge and know-how.

Supported by a joyful team of volunteers, these professionals also bring this unique place to life!

Collective workshops are organized every last Saturday of the month from 10am to 5pm throughout the year. They allow for the preparation of events as well as the maintenance of the several-hectare site, between the area accessible to the public and the one reserved for professionals! Join us!

Year-round activities

The professionals are passionate about sharing their knowledge through courses throughout the year.

Thus, you can discover and deepen techniques such as weaving, papermaking, plants, etc.

Introductory workshops:

These are offered during each school vacation period (all zones combined). They are an opportunity to discover pottery, cyanotype, engraving, weaving, plants, dyeing, writing, etc.

Events:

Gratiferia, spring festival, Christmas market, but also children's shows, theater, gestural conferences.

The Boutique:

Ultra-local, it naturally offers products grown and/or made on site by the professionals installed on the site! And for more diversity, you will also find creations and productions from the region.

The Boutique offers you another way of consuming, responsible purchases to combine respect for the earth and for humans.

You will find ceramics, engravings, cosmetics, candles, crochet & knitting, textile creations, jewelry, wooden creations, furniture, lamps, jams, herbal teas, terrines, etc...

Open all year round from Friday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm

Annual closure: January
