The Suscinio Cheese Farm - Visit and Shop

SARZEAU

    Commerces alimentaires

Located near the Suscinio castle, the cheese dairy produces the famous and unique Tome de Rhuys. A raw milk cow's tomme. A Breton cheese par excellence with sweet and delicious notes, made with the milk of the Breton pie noir cows and their big Norman and Montbéliard friends.

Come in the morning at 10:45 am to watch the cheesemakers make the Tome de Rhuys in free access, and in the late afternoon at 4:30 pm for the milking of the small Breton pie noir cows.
On site, a farm shop offers a wide range of local producers' products.
You will find a very wide range of grocery products (flour, pasta, coffee, tea, canned goods, jams, ciders ...) and of course our entire range of dairy products: half-salted butter, cottage cheese, sour cream and the famous Gwell (Breton yogurt).
A production of pork in the "Porc Blanc de l'ouest" breed and beef in the "Bretonne pie noir" breed awaits you depending on arrivals.
