Ecomuseum of the Pays d'Auray

In the heart of a village of thatched cottages, the Ecomusée de St-Dégan retraces the life of the peasants of the Pays d´Auray between 1850 and 1950. It offers a look into the past and offers keys to understanding the world today.

Free visits with a game trail or guided tours, activities, workshops, make up the menu over the seasons: baking bread in the village oven, pressing apples, making butter, harvesting and threshing ...

For children and their parents, the tour is punctuated by fun activities in a space without constraints. Several trails extend the visit to discover a preserved grove and an orchard with 225 varieties of apples.
