Château et Parc de Josselin JOSSELIN View slideshow Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Home » detail » Château et Parc de Josselin Site et monument historique A fief of the Rohan family since the late 14th century, the Château de Josselin is one of the most famous in Brittany. Its architecture tells a thousand-year-old story: on the river side, three imposing towers recall feudal wars, while on the courtyard side, a finely sculpted granite facade bears witness to the beginnings of the Renaissance. The interiors, fully restored and redesigned in the late 19th century, evoke the aristocratic way of life at the dawn of the Belle Époque. Although the castle is still inhabited by the descendants of the first Duke of Rohan, its furnished interiors and landscaped garden are open to the public. The Museum of Dolls and Toys, housed in the former stables, completes the visit. Open from April 12 to September 28. In October, open on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, then from October 18 to November 2. Adult admission: €10.80 for a self-guided tour and €14.80 for a guided tour. Child admission (7-14 years old): €5.50 for a self-guided tour and €7 for a guided tour.
